Inhibited by: AMP (feedback on its own branch)
GTP is required to make AMP — cross-regulation balances the pools.

Cofactors: PRPP → PPi
Deficiency: APRT deficiency — rare; adenine is oxidised to 2,8-dihydroxyadenine → kidney stones; far milder than HGPRT deficiency
